Roseburg Announces Historic Oregon Investment
Oregon is our home, and we wake up every day pinching ourselves that we get to help local businesses and organizations build relationships with their audiences, whether near or far. It’s especially gratifying when we get to help one of those businesses communicate about something that’s going to positively impact lives right here in Oregon, as well as beyond our borders.
On April 14th, Roseburg announced a $700 million investment in rural Oregon, immediately taking its place as one of the largest private capital investments in the state’s history. The investment includes not only the creation of two new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, but also technological upgrades to existing plants in rural Douglas and Coos counties.
Both new facilities are slated to open in 2025 and are projected to employ approximately 120 Roseburg team members. By developing new opportunities for current and future employees to learn in-demand skills and grow in great-paying jobs, Roseburg seeks to attract top technical talent to rural Oregon while strengthening the economic health and stability of our local communities.
“Not only are we proud of our long history in this region, but our focus on advanced manufacturing and innovative technology makes us an excellent fit for the future of Oregon’s manufacturing sector as well,” said Roseburg CEO and President Grady Mulbery according to KPIC News. “Our use of robotics, computer programming, and other advanced manufacturing tools aligns Roseburg with the high-tech evolution of manufacturing in this state.”
